went to Elkader this afternoon for repare for the fordson th May 3 A very warm day Lena washed 6 Grandm Johnson past away today Fri May 4 we had rain last night & this fornoon Aulden got a stitch in his back last nite him & Wallace went to West Union to see Dr rivers this afternoon Wallace got some cough medicine from Dr Carr for me sat May 5 A nice day Aulden finished plowing the garden this fornoon he started for Hopkinton at 6 to this eve Wallace started for Fayette & to Lena Aulden & the girls went to Elgin this afternoon
