Fri Aug 10 A nice day not so warm was a freeze is quite cool this eve the men thrashed at Flanagans today Lena did quite a washing picked some blackberries cleaned the separator room cleaned the horse tank & other things sat Aug 11 A nice day not so hot is real cool this eve the men threshed at Flanagans today we did a lot of work cleaned the dining room wash the curtains & got them up I ironed them Russells laundry came Lena washed it & we ironed it & what she washed yesterday she churned & is going to can some blackberries I am very tired & sleepy Wallace
