today dident get along very fast sun Aug 19 A warm day is nice & cool this eve we all went to Brainard this afternoon to a bartlet homecoming the archer went over Aulden & Labanda went over near Arlington to a 6 oclock dinner I don't know what home it is at. mon Aug 20 we had little showers at times all day this eve we had wind & thunder & lightning & a heavy rain & early this morning we had the same Wallace & Lena went to West Union this afternoon to help fix the fair booth & are there yet maby will take them till midnight I am glad it isent me to come home in the wind
