th sept 6 A nice day Wallace Lena & I went to Albert Gehrings funeral this afternoon Russell went away this morning is going to school at Iowa City he thinks I am so tired this eve am going to bed at 20 minutes to 8 I am tired & sleepy Fri sept 7 A nice day we finished thrashing this afternoon some mean sneak put a old ax on the machine so it would fall in when the machine was started but good luck was on our side Lester Gehring saw it in time that was Sam last night had it fell in it would of broke the machine so it would been no good well
