sun sept 23 A nice day we took a trip today Lena Wallace Russell the girl & I we was at West Union Auburn st Lucas was in the big church Ft Atkinson Oahan Calmer Castelia postvill Clermong Elgin & home I am some tired roads was just fine all the way mon sept 24 A nice day commenced to dig our late potatoes they are fine & a lot of them Old Bill upset Ella & Dasha Corbin brok the buggy & harness dident hurt them much a old fool man went by them with a big truck with cattle in it road fell so he went so fast & such a noise he had no since or he would of slowed up Russell
