the old th Oct 18 A gloomy day rained some this eve Ella came home this eve Wallace went to West Union this fornoon him & Lena went to Elgin this afternoon he went to Clermont she stayed in Elgin till he came back Fri Oct 19 A gloomy day Wallace went to Clermont agan today Lena washed we picked our potatoes out of the machine house this fornoon I walked back in our east hollow & back agan I am very tired sat Oct 20 this was the first sunshiny day we had this week isent warm this eve rather cold Lena & Ella are ironing this eve the men halled wood today
