Tues Dec 11 not so nice today the wood choppers was here today dad & Aulden halled 2 load this afternoon Russell has the gripp he says don't feel very good has a cold & bad cough wed Dec 12 A gloomy day not cold thawed a lot we had 4 wood choppers for dinner 2 Marses 1 wing & 1 green Lena washed th Dec 13 it rained all day is raining hard at 8 Pm called off the farm bureau meeting that was to be this eve Ella dident go to school started commenced to rain she came back home the boys went to Elgin this afternoon Russell got a new suit of clothes
