had rain last night Sun Aug 15 A prety warm day we all had dinner together up to wallaces today Russell feels all right only his leg is lame yet Mon Aug 16 A fine day we washed Lester Strang died at 5 oclock last night of Neuraligo of the heart left a widow & 2 little boys Tues Aug 17 rained a little this for noon I ironed baked bread finished mowing the lawn Father Mother Wallace went to Lester Strangs funeral was a large funeral had no surmond John Moore talked a little & prayed
