sat sept 18 A fine day I did a lot of work finished canning the Plumbs made [illegible] & so many other things made of pumpkin pies got a letter from mother they are having a good time sun sept 19 A fine day we all eat dinner at Wallaces today had 2 fried chickens & pumpkin pie Mon sept 20 A fine day we washed I took [illegible] [illegible] over to the grass [illegible] this afternoon am tired
