mon Aug 8 A fine day we finished threshing had them all for dinner we cleaned the dining room all up & put the curtains up Tues Aug 9 A nice day wind pretty high Lena the little girls was alone all day the men was at Ogles threshing Lena washed Wed Aug 10 we had quite a heavy rain early this morning with heavy thunder & lightning & a very heavy electric storm this eve with heavy rain we ironed today
