wed sept 21 A very windy day Lena washed Wallace finished cutting corn for Jack Shaffer I am so tired to night th sept 22 A nice day I slept all afternoon dident feel very good we butchered a pig this eve Carl helped C Midberry fill silo today Ella & Lena ironed Fri sept 23 A nice day we worked with the meat all day Sis Conner came this eve sat sept 24 we had a very heavy rain about 5 PM we finished putting the meat away made & fryed out 2½ gallons sausage made head cheese fryed out lard
