CHASE'S [[underline]]WASHINGTON[[end underline]] [[underline]]WEEK OCT. 14th. 1097 Le CLAIR and BOWEN "Bogus[?] strong men." Good in this position. Full stage, closing in one. DONALD and CARSON "Alex. McLean's Dream". Our people have grown tired of performer's signing intoxication and this class of acts unless exceptionally clever are disfavored. Full stage, closing in one. THE AKOUNINE[?] TRIO Two ladies and a gentleman, the latter lately of the Olivetti[?] Troubadours, in an [[?]] member of much merit and highly pleasing. Can work in one. FRED BOND, MISS PENTON and CO. "Handkerchief No. 15". Good act INTERMISSION EDDIE LEONARD Assisted by the Gordon Boys in songs and dances with special scenery, we must admit that from our applause standpoint they were the hit of this bill. Full stage, closing in one. KATIE ROONEY[?] She did fine. If all her songs and business were as clever as her opening one she would take first rank. In one. ROBINSON'S CRUSOE'S ISLE Large company, beautiful costumes and scenery elaborate but comedy and voices not any too good but at that think the producer is going to be well received. Full stage. VITAGRAPH "His First Ride". Pretty good. H. Winnifred DeWitt
