KEITH & PROCTOR'S 125TH STREET THEATRE CRITICISM (Cont'D) THE STAR BOUT With Taylor Granville & Co. in three scenes. Ten Principals and about fifty Supers. SCENE I - Cellar under Mc Finn's Cafe, on the Bowery, Joe's Training Quarters. SCENE II - The Bowery after Dark. Just before the battle. SCENE III- Ring at the Olympian Boxing Club. "The Star Bout" I think the big house this afternoon was due to the past performances of this act, as the individual members of the company were applauded when they entered. Every indication points to a big increase in business during the week; while the act is thoroughly alright in houses of this city I do not think it a proper entertainment to be presented in theatres of the Keith standing. The various scenes as above fully explain the story which is a little dramatic with a grand stand climax. Big applause on the finish with several curtain calls. 30 Min. Full Stage. KINETOGRAPH College Chums Fairly Good.
