REPORT OF COLONIAL THEATRE, Week of Jan. 27th, 1908. BESSIE VALDARE TROUPE:- Cyclists. Act a big improvement over last season. Will close show balance of week. 12 min. Garden. Work in 3. BERTIE HERRON:- Minstrel Maid. Another act that has improved greatly. Went very good. 15 min. Fancy. Work in 1. MR. & MRS. HARRY THORN CO:- in "The Uptown Flat," (No, it is not a new act) a hit. 23 min. C D. Work in 3. BELLE BLANCHE:- Impersonations. Next to Frank Fogarty she scored the greatest success of any single act ever here. 13 min. Fancy. Work in 1. BURT HOWARD and LEONA BLAND:- in "The Stage Manager." A positive hit. 24 min. Bare stage. Work in 3. JOE DEMING:- Monologue. Went very good. 14 min. Street. Work in 1. KELLY & ASHBY:- bounding billoardists. Went bad. Will open the show balance of the week. 9 min. Palace. Work in 3.
