206 H. A. DANIELS. CLEVELAND, OHIO. FEB. 3 '08. IRVING JONES- Colored Comedian. Singing and stories. Good Act. Says he won't stay in this place and will close tonight. Drop in one. 17 min. MR. & MRS. JIMMIE BARRY & CO. In the sketch entitled "At Henfoot Corner". Three people. This act is better than the old one. They carry a special set. Open F. S., close in one. I have never known a rural act to go better than they did this afternoon. 22 min. JOHN HYAMS & LELIA McINTYRE In their old sketch entitled "Two Hundred Wives". To my surprise this act was a scream from start to finish. Went better than I have ever known it to go before. Kitchen in three. 16 min. WELCH, MEALY & MONTROSE In their old act, entitled "Play Ball". This was the only act on the bill that did not seem to catch on big this afternoon. They got by all right but were not the hit that I anticipated. Drop in one. 20 min. JULIAN ELTINGE Act is well known. He did not arrive in town until 1:30 and we had trouble getting him on at all. The act went on without a rehearsal with the orchestra and the result was that it suffered in consequence. 12 min. in two. RICHARD GOLDEN & CO. Offering a new sketch "A Case of Divorce." There are two men and two women in this act. It is a pathetic little sketch of Country life brightened every minute or two with Golden's eccentric actions and odd sayings. It brought tears to the eyes of all the women in the audience and they laughed and cried at frequent intervals. It is a very good act for houses that like this style of act. Went very good here. Kitchen in Four. 26 min. STUART BARNES. Well known monologue. Always goes well. Drop in one. 14 min. HASSAN BEN ALI'S ARABS Always a knockout. F. S. 8 min. KINETOGRAPH
