Saving...
Henry Horton Co. man like Richard Golden or someone of that stamp the sketch could easily be made a big headliner. As it is it is somewhat wasted. I don't think the act quite worth the money it is getting. 27 Min. open with 3 Min. in 1, closing Full Stage, 2 Shows. Whit Cunliffe. Without a single exception this is the biggest lemon that was ever handed this house. I should like to meet the man that went to England and booked this at HRR. I should call Mr. Cunliffe well paid at $150. and excellently paid at $200. 16 Min. in 1, 2 Shows. "A Night On A House-Boat." This is undoubtedly the best act that the Lasky's have handed us and whatever busines we do this week will be due this act and Jim Morton which were the only two real bits in the entire show. "The House Boat" is a novelty, very prettily presented and the Company, as a whole, satisfactory, although some of them might be improved upon. 27 Min. Full Stage, 2 Shows. James J. Morton. Same old hit. 14 Min. in 1, 2 Shows. Watson's Farm-Yard. This act is all right, but has been seen too much to repeat in a city the size of Providence. I surely do not want to play it again for the next five years. 18 Min. Full Stage, 2 Shows. Motion Pictures. O. K. Fields & Moson. A little character singing and dancing act, the woman playing the part of a newsboy, the man sort of a coster which is very valuable from the 3-a-day standpoint, at the price that we are paying it, SR. I think they can be had for the circuit at HR, 3 shows, and should be gobbled up for the continuous houses. The man does some very good wooden shoe dancing. 11 Min. in 1, 3 Shows.
