8 BOSTON KEITH'S JUNE 16 9 Kinograms and Topics of the Day:- Good. Roy Harrah & Co.:- 7 min. f.s. Conventional roller skating act. Fair opener. Miller & Bradford:- 14 min. in 1. Boy and girl in a singing act with a little dancing, went only fair. Howard, McGuire and Racey:- 12 min. in 2. Comedy sketch, got a few laughs, and closed to a fair hand. Florenze Tempest:- 20 min. in f.s. Spec. Miss Tempest, suffering from a bad cold, did not go as well as usual, but closed to a good hand. Halligan & Sykes:- 17 min. in 1 and f.s. This well known team went much better than on any previous visit here, and were really the first act that go much of anything in the show. La Zar & Dale:- 21 min. in 1. This black-face comedy act went over nicely and closed to a good hand. The U.S. Jazz Band:- 17 min. f.s. This organization got a nice reception and made one of the biggest hits of the season, even better than their first appearance. Brendel & Bert:- 18 min. in 1. Held this spot nicely, and their closing number was a decided riot. Robbie Gordone:- 7 min. f.s. Spec. A beautiful posing act which held the audience much better than most acts of this kind. Cuts: Howard, McGuire and Racey: Please eliminate the line in reference to where "women dress alike". Miller & Bradford: Please eliminate the line in reference to "kissing Billie Burke".
