PROVIDENCE. R. I. E. F. ALBEE DEC. 29th, / 9 The show this week plays very well indeed. Every act on the bill scored. The acts are clean and meritorious. CHARLES LOVENBERG. WORDEN BROTHERS: Foot Jugglers. It has been many years since this act played for us and they come as something of a novelty. There is a little comedy touch to their work; the stage setting is attractive and generally it makes a nice opening act. 8 min. full stage. MILLER & BRADFORD: Good looking juvenile and attractive girl with pleasant voices, good personalities and a well put together act. An act that no one need be afraid to play No. 4 on the bill. They scored very well indeed in this spot. 14 min. in one. THE LOVENBERG SISTERS & SIMON NEARY:- In an act largely different from anything they have ever done, although it includes the dancing of the Lovenberg girls and Neary and some very good singing by the latter, together with a touch of comedy and some unusual novelties. I consider it a very desirable act indeed and I am sure it will make good anywhere as it has all along the time up to and in- including the present week. 20 min full stage, does not closed in one. This act plays the Bushwick Theatre week of January 5th; the Managers are requested to see it there. GEORGE YORMAN: In a monologue with his silent and invisible partner, Lizzie. Very good act. 17 min. in one and half. ELEANORE COCHRAN: One of the best dramatic sopranos in vaudeville. A fine looking woman and a very satisfactory act. 12 min. in two, can work in one. FRANK GABY: No ventriloquist that we have ever played scored better than Mr. Gaby did here yesterday. His act is unusual and he is a most excellent performer. 18 min. in one. ONCE UPON A TIME: A lively condensed version of Charlie's Aunt, with a little singing and an introduction to make it somewhat different. Plenty of laughs, attractive girls and generally a satisfactory act. 23 min. full stage. THE WILTON SISTERS: Well known act that made the big hit of the bill. 18 min. in one. SYLVIA LOYAL: Very pretty act of juggling and wire walking, introducing a couple of black poodles and a great number of white pigeons. 8 min. full stage. CUTS: ONCE UPON A TIME: The word "Hell." GEORGE YORMAN: Cut "Hell fast", joke about woman in Union Suit being held for further inspection. Eliminate the word Wops and reference to Italians generally.
