PROVIDENCE. R. I. E. F. ALBEE JANUARY 19th 20 The bill this week plays exceedingly well and the audience liked it very much indeed. I look for a very good week's business. CHAS. LOVENBERG. REKOMA: Hand balancing, exceedingly good act which made quite a hit on the opening spot. 7 min. in 2-1/2. DOTSON: Darky, comedian and dancer. His Success depending principally upon his very unusual and well presented dancing stunt. A big hit. 14 min. in one. GARDNER & HARTMAN: Man and woman, comedy talking act which did as well as upon its previous visit. 18 min. in one. PERMANE & SHELLEY: Two men in a musical act playing violin and concertina opening with a little burlesque trapeze stunt that was not much cared for. The musical part of the act goes over fairly well. 13 min. in one. CLAUDE & FANNIE USHER: In a new sketch for us entitled "The Bide-a-Wee-Home" The best act they've done since their original spareribs sketch, and in spite of Miss Usher's illness, scored a very big hit. 25 min. full stage. GRACE NELSON: Balladist who scored very well indeed. 14 min. in one. PAT ROONEY & MARION BENT & CO. In RINGS OF SMOKE: All the good things that has been said of them in the other cities in which they have appeared, go for Providence. 50 min. full stage. MARGOT & FRANCIS & PARTNER: A woman acrobat doing some very clever tricks on stilts, assisted by an acrobatic clown who adds materially to the value of the act. A very good number. 7 min. in one.
