REPORT OF BIJOU THEATRE, SOONSOCKET, R. I., Thursday, Frida and Saturday, Sept. 23, 24 and 25. McCORMACK & REGAY--- In "Steps A-la-Carte"--man and woman; singing, talking and dancing. Also portray two rube characters. 14 min. in one; went poor. THREE BUDDIES---- Juvenile Entertainers--three young boys in a act with bag punching--wind-up with a boxing match. 10 min. full; went over good. ED. E. FORD--- An Australian. The Paradoxical Physiognomist--he tells stories and pantomime--he's an adept in contortions of the face 10 min. in one; went good. P. S.--I consider this a weak show, while the Boys and the Australian went over good with the audience there is no drawing power behind them--they would not draw a nickel. We want people to go out and praise the show--not knock it as they have been doing. It seems to me the higher the salaries (lately) the rottener the acts. We can't do Business and make expenses with these kind of acts. [Signature] A S Watson
