REPORT OF Bijou Theatre, Woonsocket, R. I., Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, October 11, 12 and 13. THE LAMPINI'S--- Comedy Illusionists. Man and woman; comedy burlesque, magic. Finishing with the trunk mystery. 14 min. full. This act got lots of laughs but not much of a hand--the reason--took too much time untieing the trunk at end of their act. PEGGIE CAHART--- Concert Violinist. Plays the violin with great skill. Very neat. Plays several Foreign airs; also, "Dear Old Pal" and "Medley of Southern Airs." 12 min. in one; went good. SAXTON & FARRELL--- "Lights." Comedy act. Man and woman; actress interrupted in her performance by stage hand. There is also some singing. Comedy throughout, went over good. 18 min. FARRELL TAYLOR & CO.--- In "The African Duke." Two men and two women; two men, blackface; sort of blackface musical comedy. Ladies play the trombone and harp--this act is full of fun and music and went over tremendous-- no let up on applause. Called them out time and again. Send the like along. the line. 25 min.
