REPORT OF BIJOU THEATRE, WOONSOCKET, R. I., Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, November 22, 23 and 23. PEDDRICK & DEVERE--- Man and woman. Cycle of Songs and Dances. This act consists of singing and dancing--man does singing and woman the dancing. Nice costumes with three changes. Special stage setting. Open in one and close in full stage. This act got only a scant applause to-night. Went good deal better this afternoon. 12 min. CEDERICK LINDSAY--- "College Chap"--Sings, Talks and Dances. Does his singing in a sing-song-talking way. Principally talking. Rather tiresome at first, but at last does a stunt with cigar boxes which carry him over. No laughs or hands until finish of act, when he got a fair hand. 13 min. in olio. SULLY & HOUGHTON--- In a Comedy Skit entitled "Calf Love"--Man and woman. Special drop representing a park. This is a very amusing skit throughout; plenty of laughs all thro and at the finish they received a tremendous hand--went big all day. 16 min. CORADDINI'S ANIMALS--- "The Fastest Circus Act in Vodvil". Pony, dogs and a monkey. This is sure enough a fast act. Everything went on the jump, especially the dogs. This act went over with a scream, especially when the dog and monkey got fighting. 12 min. full. [Signature: A. S. Watson]
