REPORT OF BIJOU THEATRE, WOONSOCKET, R. I., Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, March 7, 8 and 9. JOHN LE CLAIR--- Comedy Juggler. John is an old timer--has a drop with some of the people (names) he has played with--Harrigan & Hart heads the list, 1871, etc. Makes up as a young man. Neat act, received a few hands thro act and a fair one at finish. 10 min. full. STARR & STARR--- "Girls from the Land of Song and Dance"--Piano, singing and dancing. Two girls; one plays the piano, the other does the singing. Not much on the sing-- weak voice. This act did not go very good--weak--13 min. in one. RUDDELL & DUNIGAN--- In "Revuettes"--Man and woman. Special drop. Piano, singing and dancing. Songs are combination of lyric and melody. This act received laughs and hands thro act and a good hand at finish. 14 min. CHAS. MACK & CO.--- In a "Friendly Call"--Two men and a woman. This is an Irishman's act, pure and simple. Full of funny sayings all thro that went well with the audience who received the same with plenty of laughs, and at the finish a rousing hand. 17 min. full. [Signature: A. S. Watson]
