REPORT OF BIJOU THEATRE, WOONSOCKET, R. I., Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, May 23, 24 and 25.
JOHNNY DOVE--- Scotch Minstrel. Sings several catchy songs and tells a several telling stories. This act went extra good--did not want him to leave the stage--received plenty of hands and laughs thru act, and a big hand at finish. 20 min. in one.
CANTWELL & WALKER--- In "The Wishing Ring"--Singing and talking act--principally talking. This couple have a peculiar way of putting their act over which gained for them lots of laughs and a good hand at the finish. 18 min. in one.
ELSIE LA BERGERE--- And Her Posing Dogs in an Art Potpourri. This is a posing act entirely--Miss Bergere does about eight poses assisted by two dogs. This went over rather tame, but I think it was admired by the better class of the audience. 8 min. full.
