PHILADELPHIA B. F. KEITH JUNE 6th, 1 PATHE NEWS & "TOPICS OF THE DAY" - Pictures and "Topics" only fair. ALTHEA LUCAS & CO. - (7 mins.) A man and woman in a very pretty ring act. Ordinary routine of tricks but all well handled and the act is beautifully staged. Fine opener. WALSH & EDWARDS - (13 mins.) A fair singing and dancing act by a boy and girl, the dancing being the better part of the act, and it helped their closing number. ROYAL GASCOIGNES - (17 mins.) Repeated very well with juggling and comedy talk. A very good novelty of this kind. ZUHN & DREIS - (12 mins.) A "nut" comedy of a new kind and a big laugh. Had the house in a roar all the time and closed strong. Tow men work in eccentric comedy make-up and material is away from other acts of this kind. WILLIAM SEABURY & CO. - (31 mins.) Greatly improved since we played it last season and a tremendous applause hit. Aside from Mr. Seabury's own work he has the best lot of girl dancers we have ever played and the whole act was a big hit, taking several curtains at the finish. COLEY & JAXON - (13 mins.) A good singing and talking act by a man and woman. Starts a little slow with talk but the singing picks up the finish and they closed to a very good hand. AMES & WINTHROP * (27 mins.) Travesty of the broadest kind and got a lot of laughs. Along the same style that this team has been doing and gives them a new vehicle that is as good as any of their previous ones. WATSON SISTERS - (18 mins.) In the next to closing spot these girls put over a good sized hit, getting laughs for their comedy and applause for singing. Following a bill that held plenty of comedy they did very well and closed strongly. HERBERT & DARE - (5 mins.) Good routine of hand-balancing by two men and did very well in the closing position. Work is clean-cut and showy. GENERAL REMARKS - A first rate bill that played smoothly from start to finish and brought good returns. Plenty of good comedy and novelty, with an unusually good dancing feature. CUTS "TOPICS" - Three Musketeers in Ireland." WALSH & EDWARDS - Have girl cover her body in doing Oriental dance. ROYAL GASCOIGNES - Do not speak to people in audience.
