REPORT OF BIJOU THEATRE, WOONSOCKET, R. I., Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday September 12, 13 and 14. EDWARD I. BOYLE & DAUGHTER--- Presenting a Dainty Bit of Originality, in melody and Mirth. This is a neat act and went over good. Consists of singing and piano playing. 18 min. in one. LIDELL & GIBSON--- In a Comedy Sketch entitled "Just Vaudevillians"--Two men as female impersonators; singing and talking; this act created lots of laughter throughout, but received a light hand. Had a handsome drop. 14 min. full. LEONARD & WHITNEY--- In a Comedy Sketch entitled "Duffy's Rise"--This sketch went over big--Full of laughs all thro act. Talking throughout. Finished good. 15 min. full. Scenic Sept-8-9-10 Lynch & Zella - 2-M. Hats & Clubs - (Good act) But did not go over good. Gertrude DeMilt Singing & Dancing - A fair singer Good Dancer Allen & Canten 2-M. Comedy - (Good) Went good Ford & Goodrich - M&W. Singing, Talking & Dancing (Fairly good act) [Tony?] Harking Monarchs of Melody 4-M. (Good act) [Illegible] [In left margin] Orchestra did not play for 20 minutes in Feature Picture. Played 1 Hour for the Vaudeville then went back stage. [In right margin] Ticket Taker talks to loud in [Door?]
