55 CHASE'S THEATRE WASHINGTON, D. C. WEEK MAY 2ND, 1904. Hadji Lessik Assisted by a young woman, Anita, he does some very clever gun juggling. The best of which is a cage balanced on the point of a gun in which is a bird which sings while he plays the mandolin. Special oriental costuming and setting. Full stage. Yorke and Adams Good Hebrew comedians and the best of the work is their parodies. All in one. The 3 Keatons This act is too well known to require comment. Full stage, closing in one. Annie Abbott Certainly this little lady does many wonderful and mysterious things. It has been a long time since an act created so much interest. Full stage. INTERMISSION Bros. Damm A fine acrobatic exhibition. Full stage. Elsie Janis Formerly known as "Little Elsie". She is now a young woman and in our judgment no one can or ever did excel her as an imitator. Improvement has been remarkable and her success here unequalled this season. Worth double the salary she receives. All in one. Edouin and Edwards. Presenting "A Bachelor's Dream". Good. Full stage. The American Vitagraph shows scenes of "Buster Brown" which are very good. H. W. D.
