172 KEITH'S VAUDEVILLE - MARYLAND THEATER - BALTIMORE MD - WEEK OCT. 3RD Clarke & Florette - Very good opening act. Seemed to please. Staley & Berbeck - Exceptionally fine act which went well with our audience. Helen Reimers - Only fair. Her laughing song was about the only redeeming feature of her act. Hawtrey & Co. - The sketch "Time is Money" made a decided hit and is one of the neatest and most pleasing we have yet played. Mr. Hawtrey's comedy is the best we have seen in a long while. He received five curtain calls last evening. Allen Shaw - Very clever and finished sleight-of-hand performer. Gerard & Gardner - One of the best rough comedy acts we have yet played, went well and liberally applauded. James [Herrigan? Harrigan?] - Juggling good but old. Parody singing only fair. Sandor Trio - Excellent athletic act and good finish to a show. Biograph - Picture not as good as two previous weeks. Fred'k C. Schanberger
