Fulgora. This man did much better than I expected. Of course, he hasn't Henry Lee's finish or personality but he has a very pretentious act and he gets away with his stuff in good stye. He made quite a hit this afternoon. 18 min. full stage, 2 shows. Golden Gate Quintette. In the same act they have always given us except that they have a couple of new songs. Good lively act, safe anywhere on the bill. 18 min. in one, 2 shows. Wilton Brothers. In the funniest comedy bar act in the business. 9 min. full stage, 2 shows. Murphy-Nichols & Co. In "FROM 'ZAZA' TO 'UNCLE TOM'." This is unquestionably the funniest sketch I ever saw and from the way the audience 'howled' they seemed to fully agree with me. 35 min. open with about 5 min. in one, close full stage, 2 shows. Biograph. Two or three small pictures and "Fighting the Flames" a very good representation of Coney Island, at Dreamland, fair, and a splendid truck picture called "The Bewitched Traveller."
