Keith's Bijou Theatre, Phila., Criticism, #3. The principal drawback to the act is that the firing of the gun fills the house with a very strong smelling smoke which requires the use of the ventilator fans to clear the house of it. I dont hesitate to advise the use of this act in the other houses, though, as I said before, it dont do to follow very soon after the Hoosier Zouaves. BIOGRAPH: Fairly good collection of views. COMMENT: The show this week is considerably better than last week's, has more good comedy, more novelty, and for this house entirely satisfactory. I look for much better results in a business way.
