161 NEW YORK SHOW--WEEK OF JANUARY 25th--2. JOHNSON, DAVENPORT & LORELLA--GNH--2--In their familiar act called the "Foot Ball Players and the Farmer." This is another team of old-timers who are really excellent. They created a lot of laughter this afternoon and the imitations of the comedian at the finish of their act were received with screams 21 minutes, open full stage and close in one. MHR--2--WATSON, HUTCHINGS & EDWARDS.-- In a German comedy sketch entitled "The Vaudeville Agent." I agree with the other houses that there is absolutely no merit in the act, but that they make the audience scream is certainly a fact. There was nothing but continual laughter while they were on. 24 minutes, full stage. GHR.--2--JULIAN ROSE.--HEBREW comedian. rose, as usual, made a big hit. He did not have much new material in the way of talk, but the audience did not seem to realize that, and the parodies were all new. I think he is one of the best performers in this line of work that we play. 20 minutes in one. YRR--22-WINSCH[??]MAN'S BEARS.-- An exceptionally clever animal act and especially welcome on account of its novelty. 16 minutes, full stage. HR--BIOGRAPH.--A good collection of views this week. 20 minutes in one. S. K. HODGDON.
