221 SHEA'S EMPIRE THEATER, CLEVELAND, U S A Week of March 7, 1904 ALFONSO SILVANO: Equilibrist, Act goes very well here; very good opening act; ten minutes, full stage. WILSON & DAVIS: Two men singing and talking act; goes fair; sixteen minutes in one. THE NAWNS: They are using their old act; "A Touch of Nature". This act needs no comment, and is one of the hits of the show. Full stage, twenty five minutes. HELEN BERTRAM: A singer who possesses a remarkable soprano voice; and one of the hits of the bill; ten minutes in one. JOHN F. LEONARD: Irish singing and talking comedian; act is only going fair here; fourteen minutes in one. ANNIE MAY ABBOTT: A woman who seems to possess a remarkable power over other people. Her act is very interesting, and seems to keep the audience dumfounded; twenty-five minutes in full stage. JOSEPHINE GASSMAN AND "PICKS": She seems to have lost some of her ability; and her three "picks" are the best that we have played this season, going very big; ten minutes in one. FOUR LUKENS: Consisting of four men. This is one of the best acrobatic acts that we have played; doing some very remarkable feats. Was a big hit; ten minutes, full stage. KINETOGRAPH: Presenting comedy and travel pictures, very good, fifteen minutes.
