Harry Smirl and Rose Kessner, 2 shows, 18 min. in 3--Acrobatic Bell Boy and Dancing Maid. The acrobatic work of the man is excellent but the woman is so awkward looking that she detracts from the act. While doing his acrobatic feats he throws side talk to the audience, which I will request him to leave out. At the close he introduces a little poodle which did some pretty posings, proving pleasing to the women and children. Will move them up to the place occupied by Chas Serra for the evening show. The Zancigs, 2 shows, 13 min. in 1--Followed with just as much interest as on their first visit last spring. Will no doubt create a lot of talk around town. Got an excellent hand at the finish. Herbert's Dogs, 2 shows, 13 min. full stage--In this unusual spot on the bill for an act of this kind, they held it down most creditably. No question but what it is one of the nest acts of the kind we play. They seemed to appreciate the looping-the-loop dog. Will close the show with them tonight. Kelly and Violette, 2 shows, 15 min. in 1--The most popular duo of vocalists coming this way. The man is an excellent vocalist and the woman, as always was stunningly gowned. Scroed one of the kitz of the show. Willl Cressy and Blanche Dayne, 2 shows, 27 min. full stage- Appearing for the first time here in the rural comedy sketch, "Town Hall Tonight." The piece gives a description of a leading lady of a company coming to a village town hall and rehearsing before Cressy, who is a janitor and jack-of-all-trades of the house. Screams of laughter throughout and it is a capital vehicle. They seemed rather tired out by this time, so I will move them up to the place held by Herbert's Dogs for tonight's show and for the balance of the week. Kinetograph, 3 shows, 20 min. in 1--Showing the following list of pictures: 1. Boarding School Girls at Coney Island. Excellent picture; laughed at throughout. Casey's Trip Through the Subway. Fair picture of this sort. The Serenaders. Fair 4. Funny Faces. Fair. comment:- The show is a good one, not a really poor act in the bill. Had a good audience this afternoon and see no reason why we should not do a good business for the week. I think it will be worth while for the other houses to have Cressy and Dayne play "Town Hall Tonight".
