45 Military Octette, 2 shows, 31 min. open full stage, close in 1--Eight men and three women in a spectacular military fantasty in three scenes. Went very well in this spot today before an extremely "frosty" audience and there is no doubt but what they will go all right tonight and during the rest of the week. Cressy and Dayne, 2 shows, 26 min. full stage--In "The New Depot". Both got a good hand on their entrance and the piece was laughed at throughout. Good hand at the finish. Gillett's Dogs, 2 shows, 17 min. open in 2, close full stage--Went with laughter and applause throughout and I will make strenuous efforts to get the children in here during the week. Excellent act for the juveniles. Kinetograph, 3 shows, 20 min. in 1--Showing the following list of motion pictures: 1. Scenes at the Steel Works. Excellent picture and quite out of the ordinary. 2. Rescued by Rover. Good picture which will appeal to ladies and children. Got considerable applause this afternoon. Jack and Gilda Cannon, 3 shows, 13 min. in 2--Comedy and singing sketch. I agree with Providence, not for us. Mattie Lockett, 3 shows, 10 min. in 1--Child impersonator and dancer. Has a most pleasing personality and got the audience in this very late spot in the bill. Secured a big hand. Will try to get her up the bill to use her in the afternoon. Comment:-The show is not as good as last weeks', which could hardly be expected. We had an unusually frosty audience today, did not come to until the Military Octette. I think the show will prove a fairly satisfactory one on rearrangement.
