PHILAELPHIA SHOW. OCT. 16TH, 1905. (3) H. T. JORDAN. KINETOGRAPH 1. HE LEARNED JIU, SO DID THE MRS. Fair comedy pictures. The acting is a little overdone, but still it gets the laughs. 2. DEVIL'S DEUCE. Good French trick picture. 3. HORSE THIEF. This picture features Laura Burt, shows a very good chase, both horse back and on foot. Interesting and very good photographically. HOLMAN BROS-3-Two men on the horizontal bars, one working straight, the other doing comedy. While none of their work is out of the ordinary, what they do they do well, and the act is all right from a three a day standpoint. 12 mins. Gar. in4. COMMENT. While this week's show is lacking in anything that will be much talked about it has lots of good material, and with the revision will undoubtedly work into a very pleasing show. There are too many teams consisting of a man and a woman on the bill, and rather too much singing and dancing. I think this will be split however, so as to avoid serious conflict.
