PHILADELPHIA SHOW, NOV 6th, 1905. -2- H. T. JORDAN. LOUISE HENRY-2-I was led to believe that we were to get Van Alstyne & Henry, but much to my surprise, Henry came in to-day accompanied by a shine piano player. Henry aroused quite a number of laughs as the Sal Skinner Girl, and seemed to please in her other work. The piano playing of the man while Henry was dressing was very ordinary indeed. henry closed very strong. 13 mins. in 1. HOGIE CLARK & HIS WINNING WIDOWS-2-Man and six well formed and well dressed young ladies, who sing a little. Clark is a clever little actor and while his impersonation of a race track tout was hardly understood by the greater part of our audience, they appreciated the way it was done, and rewarded him accordingly. The ensemble work was well done, and in comparison with some of the other girl acts that we have had in this house, can be rated as very good. 24 mins. Pal/ in 5. JIM MORTON-2-A big laiugh from start to finish. Would there were more like him. 16 mins. in 1. LOUIS SIMONS, GRACE HARDWOOD & CO.-2-In the farce entitled, "The New Coachman." These people scored a most emphatic hit this afternoon, keeping the audience in a roar the entire time they were on. Shall keep it for closing act the balance of the week. Mighty good act. 20 mins. Yellow Fancy in 3. KINETOGRAPH- 1. DIFFERENT HAIR DRESSING. This is a mighty good colored film showing different styles of hair dressing, using pretty girls as models. 2. VENETIAN LOOKING GLASS. Fair trick picture. 3. LITTLE TRAIN ROBBERY. Hardly as good as the big train robbery, but at the same time interesing, and pleased the mainee crowd very much. BROS. FREYDO DID NOT APPEAR.
