Foy and Clark, 2 shows, 17 min. full stage--In the spectacular comedy sketch"The Moern Jonah". This sketch has improved considerably since it was tried out here last spring; they have fairly bright dialogue with opportunities to indulge in local bits. It aroused considerable laughter in this spot today and closed to a fairly good hand. "Cut 'Raise Hell' ". Mayme Remington, 2 shows, 14 min. in 1--Assisted by four "Picks". Has added to and improved her act since she was here in the spring, and I now consider it the best act of its kind for this house. Kitabanzai Troupe, 2 shows, 20 min. full stage--Eight nimble young Japs doing perch work, juggling barrels with their feet, etc. They carry the handsomest drop we have ever seen in this house, representing a fleet of warship, all hand work, costing $7000 and requiring 45 men seven months to make it according to their statements. This act is nicely costumed throughout, the Japs are clean looking and it probably went bigger than any act of the kind ever has before in this house. It will create no end of comment and I think it should be gobbled for the circuit at once. Will endeavor to hold them another week. Kinetograph, 3 shows, 20 min. in 1--Showing the following list of interesting action pictures: 1. The Great Foot Ball Game. Good picture and an interesting one. Considerably hurt today from the fact that I could not advertise what game it was. 2. License No. 13. Fair comedy film but in poor shape from a photographic standpoint. The Norrises, 3 shows, 15 min. in 1--Man and woman"real coon" singers and dancers. They are essentially in the 3-a-day section and in an early position at that. In fact, they are very poor. Chick, 3 shows, 10 min. full stage--Comedy tramp cyclist. Quite a clever entertainer in his way, the comedy being fair and his other work well carried out. Comment:- The show this week can hardly be classed as a great one, but coming at this time when we run light bills, it is acceptable. We had just a fair sized audience today, but extremely blase this afternoon.
