New York Criticism---Jan. 1st, 1906. DAISY HARCOURT: English Character Comedienne. This woman gave us a new song on the opening, which went very big. The balance of her act is the same as when last ween here. She received big recognition for her work. 15 min. in one- 2 shows FILSON & ERROL: Presenting their one-act comedy:-"The Daughter of Bachus." Well known over the circuit. I think this presentation to-day was the best we ever had for these performers. They are thoroughly artistic. Characters are not over-drawn,-the business is funny, and the comedy is excellent. Received two curtain calls on the finish. 34 min.-full stage- 2 shows OTTO BROS.: German Comedians. Rather disappointed in this act. The first song did not receive any applause. Their talking does not amount to anything. The strongest part os the operatic singing and dancing. Not strong enough for this place. 15 min. in one-2 shows SPISSELL BROS. & MACK: Acrobatic comedy. Full of life. Good comedy. Excellent closing act. 14 min.-full stage- 2 shows KINETOGRAPH: "Misadventures of a Hat." Good comedy. "The Tramp." Rather sacreligious. Will take off. "The Life of a Newsboy." Very good.
