--(2)-- MISS NORTON & PAUL NICHOLSON: In their comedy:-"The Ladies' Tailor." There is no plot to the comedy. The title of the sketch serves to introduce singing, dancing, imitations, etc. Some of Nicholson's imitations were so perfect that they were recognized immediately. The act is alright, if not on too late. 25 min. full stage (about 2 min. in one) ANNIE & JENNIE YEMANS: Received a big lot of advance applause. Understood this act was greatly improved, but was rather disappointed. Act is on the same character as Jennie Yeamans' single number with the mother to assist in introducing her specialities. They were laughed at throughout and received a big lot of applause on the finish, but I presume it was through sympathy. They are down in the bill entirely too far. Will try to give them an earlier place. 18 min. drapery in two (close in one about 5 min.) 6 GLINCERETTIS: Acrobats. They use a bouncing-table in the best part of their work, which is a little bit of a novelty. The act is full of life and manage to get away with some very clever tricks. A good closing act. 7 min.-full stage KINETOGRAPH: Niagara Falls in Winter. Interesting "No Children Allowed." Shows the troubles of a couple trying to secure an apartment with five small children. The comedy is good, but some parts of the film is rather fakey. NOTE: -The Misses Delmore reported sick this morning. Presume they will be in shape to go on to-morrow. The show is a wee bit ahead of last week. It is a genuine ideal summer bill.
