Kaufmann Troupe, 2 shows, 25 min. full stage--Too well-known to need comment from me. Suffice it to say that they went with strong applause throughout. Howard & North, 2 shows, 24 min. in 1--In the talking specialty, "Those Were Happy Days". Bigger than on their first visit. In fact, I believe it to be one of the best teams we have to work in 1. Aroused laughter and applause throughout and closed to an excellent hand. One of the hits of the show. Therese Renz, 2 shows, 12 min. full stage--European equestrienne exhibiting one beautiful white and another chestnut horse. The stage is covered with a dark mat and backed with a dark drop. The curtain rises with Miss Renz sitting on the white hosre on a pedestal--a handsome picture in itself. Then she puts the horse through high school riding followed by posing with handsome color and light effects. Was strongly applauded at the rise of the curtain and throughout the act. I am advertising it as the sensational hit of the "Yankee Circus of Mars" because of the fact that that shows comes to the Boston Theatre, next door, in April and they have already sent out considerable advance matter. Kinetograph, 3 shows, 20 min. in 1--Showing the following list of interesting motion pictures: 1. The Misadventure of a Hat. Fair comedy picture. 2. A Curious Discovery. Good comedy 3. The Life of a Newsboy. One that fairly sent them howl-ing though it is poor photographicaly towards the close. Murphy & Andrews, 3 shows, 18 min. in 1--Man and woman, in conversational and vocal comedy. An act, that were it possible for us to give it a show, I believe would go first rate. Good 3-show value. McGrath Brothers, 3 shows, 12 min. in 1--Banjo players, and quite clever ones at that. This is another case of were It possible, I would not hesitate to give them a fair position on the bill in the 3-show section. Good act of the sort that received a goodly amount of applause in this spot in the bill. Comment:- The show is the kind that should come oftener. The weakest spots are Carroll Johnson and Violet Dale. We had practically a full house today and I predict a big business for the week.
