TEMPLE THEATRE, DETROIT, MICH. FEB. 5, 1906. COYNE & TINLIN-Local acrobats who replaced LeRoy and Woodford, the latter refusing to open the show. It proved to be an excellent substitute act. 11 min. F. S. WILLIS ECKSTEIN-Boy pianist of wonderful ability who was received with unbounded enthusiasm. 17 min. in one. ALICE PIERCE-Singer, impersonator. A wonderfully clever girl. In my opinion the greatest in her line in vaudeville. Elsie Janis and other pale into insignificance compared to her. Her impersonation of Mrs. Leslie Carter was electrifying. 13 min. F. S. Close in one. TATE'S COMEDIANS IN "MOTORING."-One of the funniest acts seen here in a long time. It went with a scream the two boys carrying off the honors. 15 min. F.S. SPOOK MINSTRELS-This act has improved 50 percent, since its last appearance here and now gives full value. The quintet of men sing in excellent voice. 16 min. with pictures. Close in one 5 min. BARROWS & LANCASTER-Presenting "Tactics." Fully as good as when last here three years ago. An excellent sketch excellently played. 23 min. F. S. MURPHY & FRANCIS-One of the best colored singing, dancing and comedy acts in vaudeville. It went great as usual. 18 min. in one. HOWARD'S COMEDY PONIES AND DOGS-I consider this act the best in this line that we play. 19 min. F.S.
