216 Report on show, Keith's Theatre, Providence, R. I., Week of March 18, 1906. (Chas. Lovenberg, Manager.) A very good bill which was evidently much appreciated by the audience. Carl Victor. Strong man, opening with muscular posing in black cabinet. Very good act from a three a day standpoint, at the salary. 12 min. in 2, 3 shows. Dan Healey. Messenger boy singer and dancer. Got by all right in an early spot. Worth the money. 10 min. in 1, 3 shows. Brooks Bros. Although these men presented nothing new, the fact that they have not been here for a long time made their offering acceptable. Went first rate. 15 min. in 1, 3 shows. Hugh Jeans. This man offers something of a novelty which makes rather mediocre work, go quite well because of the atmosphere He has a scene of his own presenting a base-ball ground and juggles base ball apparatus. 12 min. opening full stage, close in one, 3 shows. Carew & Hayes. This act has been reviewed before, but went first rate to-day in a fairly important spot on the bill, 2:15. Open in 2, close in 1, 15 min., 3 shows. 5 Columbians. This is a very dainty act consisting of singing, dancing and little piano playing and some very clever toe dancing by a little child. The act is prettily staged and very handsomely dressed. It made quite a hit to-day, although, because of its quietness I should advise getting it on no later than 8.30 in the night show. 24 min. full stage, can do a short close in 1, 2 shows. Brandow & Wiley. Colored song and dance people whose act opens fairly well and closes very strongly. 13 min. in 1, 3 shows. Linden Beckwith. Singing, picture. Been described before; made quite a hit this afternoon. 16 min. open in 1-1/2 closes in 1, 2 shows. Clayton White & Marie Stuart & Co. In their familiar sketch "Paris" which scored very strongly this afternoon. 33 min. full stage, 2 shows. Thompson & Vidocq. Much to my surprise this act was greatly appreciated. I was led to expect an act full entirely of old stuff, but they have considerable new material and got by with it in first class style. 18 min. in 1, 2 shows. Ferraros & Dog. Musical clown. Very good act and thoroughly appreciated. Good feature to work up for the children. 12 min. full stage, 2 shows. Clifton Crawford. In the toughest kind of a spot, with the show 15 min. late, this man held his own in good style and his recitation at the finish brought him a recall. Very good act. 17 min. in 1, 2 shows. 4 Lukens. Act too well known to require comment. 10 min. full stage, 2 shows. Motion Pictures. O. K.
