GRAND OPERA HOUSE
PITTSBURG, PA.   APRIL 2d, 1906.

KLEIN & KLEIN-Comedy acrobats, Garden, 12 minutes, 3 shows. 
This is only a fair act for the three a day section.

FANNY FARON-10 minutes, olio.
Owing to sickness Miss Faron was compelled to close. She worked Monday and part of Tuesday. I consider her a very good act among the three a day section.

FIVE COLUMBIANS-23 min., opening palace, closing olio in one 5 min. Singing, dancing and piano playing.
This act is very well dressed and can only be classed as fair. If it were not for the little dancer the act would hardly get away. I would not book them a return.

KINGSLEY & LEWIS-21 min. interior. Sketch entitled "After the Honeymoon"
I cannot say that I like this act. They seem to please but the woman is not a good actress and is very coarse, would not play them a return.

FOUR AVOLOS-9 minutes, olio in one. Xylophone players.
A very neat act that gets considerable applause. This is their second appearance here and they are going fully as wellas they did on their first appearance.

MOSHER-HOUGHTON & CO. 14 minutes, Garden. Comedy Bicycle Act. 
This is undoubtedly the best comedy bicycle act we have ever played. They are going very big and cause considerable talk.

CARTER & BLUEFORD-Singing and dancing act with special drop in one. 12 minutes.
This is a very good colored act. We have them on at 3:00 and 9:00 and they are going very well.

ROSE COUGHLAN & CO. in the "Ace of Trumps", assisted by Mr. Lynn Pratt. Interior, 24 minutes.
I think Mr. Pratt has played the part too many times. Miss Coughlan does about the same as she has always done, which is very good. She gets considerable advance applause which shows that they have not forgotten her entirely.

SAM COLLILNS-15 minutes, olio in one. German monologue-eccentric singing and dancing.
This man seems very anxious to please and works very hard. While the act is not ba, I could not recommend it to go very far down on the bill. if he were getting about $75.00 less I think he would do for about 8:15 or 8:30 on any bill. I was compelled to cut considerable out of his act. 

GOULD & SURRAT-12 minutes, opening interior closing in one six min. Singing, dancing and burlesque acting. 
This is one of the greatest acts we have played. We have them down next to closing and they are going very big. I consider them among the best acts in the business. I think Miss Surrat is the best dressed woman in vaudeville.

PEKIN  ZOUAVES-Garden, carrying scaling wall. 12 min.
This act is going very good with us. They are well drilled and work very fast during the entire act. Aside from the opening, which introduces the Zouaves' singing, I think it is as good as any act of the kind we have ever played. To cut the singing I think would improve the act.

MORTON & DIAMONS-Irish comedy spetch. Interior, closing in one. 14 min.
This act does very well among the three show section.

MUSICAL HUEHN-Introducing monologue and novelty musical act. 13 min. interior, closing in one, 3 shows.
This is not a good act and I feel sure I would not want to play it a return.
