209 New York Criticism July 10th, 1905. New York Criticism Continued. Nina Morris & Co The company consists of Nina Morris, Summer Gard a Arthur Hoops, presenting the comedy "A Friend's Advise" Nina Morris is clever and the support excellent. The comedy is alright, with many good laughs. Took two curtain calls on the finish. Seventeen minutes, two shows. Tom Moore Billed this man as the "Champion Singer of Coon Songs" and the billing will stand as he is the best coon shouter we ever had as far as impersonation goes. In this tight place he received as much applause as any act on the bill. Seventeen minutes in one, three shows. Brothers Damm Eccentric Acrobats. These boys are working without the wall and basket, suing a plain stage. The set is alright and I think fully as good. Eight minute full stage. Biograph The Bad Lodgers Good The Haunted House Boat Good Comedy Childish tricks baffled Good A Pleasure Trip Good Mr. Dauber and His Whimsical Picture-Good. The show is a good one and as strong as any mid-winter bill we ever had.
