Saving...
CRITICISM KEITH & PROCTOR'S 125TH STREET THEATRE MARCH 9 1908 THE KRATONS The pantomime part of this act, "Hoopland", died the awful death. The juggling which is fairly well done, saved them. Entirely too much money. Nine Minutes Full Stage. FRED RAY & CO. Presenting a Roman travesty. Too well known to need any criticism. Made his usual big hit. Sixteen Minutes in One. CECELIA LOFTUS Big advance applause. This young lady is certainly an artist. She held the stage this afternoon for thirty-four minutes, the audience never tiring of her efforts. Gave impersonation of Alice Lloyd, singing "Splashing"; Olga Nethersole, in a recitation from "Sappho"; Signor Caruso; Hatty Willilams, in "The Little Cherub"; Ethel Barrymore, in a scene from "Sunday"; Bert Williams, singing "Nobody"; George Walker, in "Bandanna Land", singing "Bon Bon Buddie"; and Alla Nazimova, in a scene from "A Doll's House"; each receiving big recognition and artistically done. Big applause on her finish. Compelled to take several bows. Twenty-two Minutes in One. [Text hidden by leaf lying over it; text continues beneath overleaf] rough karat alongside of Loftus, she certainly held her own and went as strong as before. Twenty-three Minutes Full Stage. SEARL & VIOLET ALLEN CO. In the well known comedy "The Traveling Man". Laughing hit of the show. GENNARO'S BAND Well known. Made the usual big hit. Thirty two Minutes. KINETOGRAPH THE MASHER MASHED Good TOO MUCH CHAMPAGNE Good
