LEW SULLY, Voc:- 14 min. in 1. On at 9:31. Advance hand. Good line of talk and some fairly acceptable parodies, but the audience did not take so very kindly to his material in the afternoon. In the evening he worked blackface and got the crowd better, holding down the spot with credit. ROONEY & BENT, "Busy Bellboy":- 21 min. F.S. Close in 1. Advance hand. There is no doubt of the popularity of these young people here. They received big advance hand and from thence to the finish, went big. The act is practically the same as when presented here before. Immense applause at the close in one, with four curtain calls. MURPHY & NICHOLS, "From Zaza to Uncle Tom":- 25 min. F.S. Open in 1. Well known act, on the seamy side of stage life, The same as presented previously and got constant laughter, and the chaotic finish won immensely. KINETOGRAPH:- COUNT OF NO ACCOUNT:- This film was highly recommended and bears out the recommendation for it brings actual shouts of laughter. ANIMAL SAGACITY:- Very interesting film for the children particularly. MYERS & ROSA:- 14 min. F.S. On at 6:28. This is a might good act. It includes disc-throwing, some very expert rope-tying, jumping through hoops, or rope, lassoing, etc. The girl is quite pretty in her cow-punching costume and the audience gave their feats generous applause. This act would make an A.1 opener for any house. KEENE & ADAMS, "The Pierrett's Carnival":- 20 min. in 1. On at 6:42. This act and Myers & Rosa are among the best three-a-day acts we have ever played in this house. These two people in unconventional costume sing and dance well and have a good line of amusing chatter of the English variety. They are refined in manner and method as well as material and could stand for a good place on any bill. They are certainly deserving of encouragement FRANCIS & ROGERS, S & D:- 13 min. in 2. On at 7:02:- This is a fair little act, the man singing well and woman dancing acceptably. GENERAL REMARKS;- The public votes this bill one of the best of the season. There is abundance of comedy, and no disappointments. GOLDEN and FLETCHER both proved in their acts the strength of their recommendations. MYERS & ROSA and KEENE & ADAMS both surprised us with the strength of their offering and deserve to be looked after. The papers were divided this morning on the strongest hits: some claiming GOLDEN, others FLETCHER, one ROONEY & BENT, one MURRAY SISTERS, and the North American put MYERS & ROSA in a display head. This is the first time one of our three-a-day acts has had that distinction. This week's show will get the crowd all right, even if it is LENT and fair weather.- CUTS & OBJECTIONS:- DILLON BROTHERS:- Substitute something in place of song "Pull down the Blinds"- FRANCIS & ROGERS:- "Schlitz--"
