CRITICISM KEITH & PROCTOR'S 125TH STREET THEATRE MARCH 16 1908 CLEMENT DE LION This fellow is certainly a wizard with the Billiard Balls. He had the audience guessing continually. Thirteen Minutes, Three Minutes in One. MARTINETTI & SYLVESTER Acrobatic comedy. Act remains the same as when presented before. Certainly made good this afternoon. Seven Minutes of continual laughter. 14 BLACK HUSSARS Colored organization of men and women known as the "Bass Drum Trust". Rather a pleasing novelty. Wee bit crude. Manages to secure a few laughs and a good round of applause. Twelve Minutes Full Stage. Open in One-and-a-half. BARRY & HUGHES Presenting the dramatic novelty "The Soul and the Heels." Opened rather tame. Received some few laughs in spots. Merry Widow dance gave them a grand finish. Applause hit up to this time. Twenty-four Minutes in One. 19. affects the sketch somewhat. Miss Suratt, in her various changes received good applause. Entirely too much money. Applause hit of the show. Twenty-three Minutes. Open and close in One. ELLIS-NOWLIN TROUPE Acrobatic comedy.
