PITTSBURG, Pa. Grand Opera House. March 16th, 08. BUSH TRIO--3 shows. 15 minutes. Unique gymnastics and comedy. A very good act for the three a day section. KIMBALL & LEWIS--13 minutes. Olio. 3 shows. Singing, dancing, talking and acrobatic work. Gets by in a very early place. SHACK BROS.--Athletes. Garden, 11 minutes. An exceptional good act when the salary is considered. MURRAY SISTERS--14 minutes. Olio in one. A very neat sister act. Going very well. Costumes are good and the girls make a very good appearance. HARRY GILFOIL-- 18 minutes. Interior, in his old act--"Baron Sands". Mr. Gilfoil is doing fair but I am sure if he were to get something new the people would appreciate him much better. FELIX & BARRY--20 minutes. Interior, in "The Boy Next Door". Always a hit here. MURPHY--NICHOLS & CO.--24 min., open in one--to full stage, garden. A hit here this week yet I feel sure that our patrons have had enough of this act and would not care to play them a return next season. RAYMOND & CAVERLY--18 minutes, street. German singing and talking act. Just fair. BERZAC CIRCUS--17 minutes, wood. As big a hit as ever. GRACE HAZARD-12 minutes, olio in one. I think Miss Hazard's introduction in baby talk is a great detriment to her act. If it were not for the novelty of the act I think $25.00 would be a big price for her. She is surely overpaid at the figure she is now getting. HOUDINI--17 minutes, Palace. We have been unable to work up any enthusiasm and I think we have had quite enough of Mr. Houdini for some time, or any one in this line. I am sure he has not helped our business this week. FARRELL & LEROY--14 min., interior. 3 shows. Comedy musical act. Doing very well. BIRCH & ANSELL--3 shows, 14 min. Singing and dancing act. Good enough for the three a day section. John P. Harris.
