40 40. REport of Columbus, Show, week April 6th. --08. W. W. Brosser. THE SANDWINAS: Man and woman in a gymnastics act of more than usual merit. -- The woman goes the "heavy" work, the man being used as the weight. -- their tricks are well worked out and executed and the set was punctuated frequently with solid applause. -- The finish was strong considering the small opening matinee. Palace 8 minutes. SLATER & WILLIMS: Two corlred boys in a singing, talking, and dancing act. -- The singing is fair, the talking bad, and the dancing works out a surprisingly strong finish. -- They took two or three bows. 11 minutes in one. LAMBERTI:Impersonating famous musicians. -- He has quite a novel act that is quiet and refined and it seemed to catch on very well. Plays piano, cello and violin and all effectively. -- His makeup as the several musicians was O.F. -- This act will no doubt please here on account of the genteel manner in which it is presented. Opens special in 5 closes in one 21 minutes. HOWARD TRUESDELL & CO: Two men, one woman in a comedy dramatic sketch. "Two Men and A Bottle". -- This act just got by and that is all. Would term this just an ordinary good offering. C. D. F. 22 minutes. WAIT -- 4 minutes. THE FOUR FORDS: Well known dancers who made a hit of the most substant order. -- No fault could possible be found with this act. Special 2 - Palace 4. 15 minutes. DILLON BROS: Another well known act and one that went very well but did not seem to be just the ting to follow the Fords. -- They sang several songs and sang them in a way to win approval. Street 1 -- 18 Minutes. APDALES ANIMALS: This act got along very well and seemed to please. I think it will draw the children. Wood in 5 -- 15 minutes. PICTURES: O. K.
