CHASE'S WASHINGTON, D.C. Week April 20th. MLLE. LA VEOLA Her dancing, Spanish and acrobatic, and her ring work is good, so that she filled this position very nicely. In one. WALTER SCHRODE and LIZZIE MULVEY An act similar to that of Guyer and Crispi, and in our opinion, just as good. Made a hit here. Full stage. WILLIE WESTON Singing comedian. In fact, mostly imitations. Thought him good last season and am sure he is better this. In one. JOE WELCH and CO. "At Ellis Island." Mr. Welch does clever character work, is well supported, a large number of supers furnished the proper atmosphere, and he met with success today. Full stage. INTERMISSION Mr. and Mrs. FREDERIC VOELKER Violinist and pianist, and both are artists. Full stage closing in one. THRONE and CARLETON They are jesters, and laugh winners sure enough. Full stage closing in one. NOVELLOS' CIRCUS A great big act enthusiastically received and of such merit. Full stage. THE VITAGRAPH "FIRE MANEUVERS AT MADRID" Good. H. Winnifred De Witt
